Pre-Publishing Checklist
When the exhibit is close to launching, ensure the following considerations are completed:
- Have you checked your work for proper spelling and grammar?
- Are the pages and content organized in a logical sequence?
- Did you preview your site on different devices?
- Do you have a banner and thumbnail for your site?
- Do you need to resize any images or embedded videos?
- Are videos closed captioned? Are audio and video transcripts available?
- Are embedded videos uploaded to MacEwan's Omeka Media channel?
- Did you input the necessary metadata for your items?
- Are items appropriately set to "Public" visibility?
- Are sources properly cited and attributed to copyright holders?
- Did you assign Creative Commons licenses to your work?
- Do you want to enable social media sharing buttons on the site?
Final Review & Publish
When the exhibit is ready to publish, notify administrators at digitalscholarship@macewan.ca. We will review the exhibit prior to making the site publicly visible to ensure requirements covered during training and laid out in the MacEwan Digital Exhibits Terms of Use have been followed. The newly published site will also be added to the MacEwan Digital Exhibits site.
