The Library is launching our new integrated Library System Platform (LSP) and website on December 11th, 2024, offering a more streamlined, accessible experience for all library users. Many links to Library resources will break when the new website launches on December 11^th 

Nursing Librarians are offering drop-in support for updating Library resource links: 

• Thursday, December 12th, 2024 (with Ali): 9:30-11am (Virtual Meeting Link)
• Friday, December 13th, 2024 (with Jody): 9-11am (Virtual Meeting Link)
• Monday, December 16th, 2024 (with Danielle): 9-11am (Virtual Meeting Link)
• Tuesday, December 17, 2024 (with Ali): 1-2pm (Virtual Meeting Link)

Other recommended steps and library support: 

1. Send your course outline, list of resources, or reading lists ASAP to: Reserves@macewan.ca Library staff will check and update links and return to you

2. Using Course Resource Lists? When ready to publish for Winter 2025 courses, select “Review and Publish”! Library staff will do all the work of checking and updating the links for you!

3. Check links to MacEwan Library books, ebooks, or other library resources on or after Dec. 11th, 2024. Update any broken links by locating the item's new permalink through the new library search at: https://library.macewan.ca. Can't find the link? Connect with our staff via live chat help: https://library.macewan.ca/help 

4. Finding broken links after the December 11th launch? Search the item's title in the new library search and copy the new permalink.
