ENGL 389 Children's Literature - Finding Children's Books

On the main Library homepage Search tool use the "Advanced Search" https://library.macewan.ca/library-search?adv=

Keep your search simple, one or two precise words.

Use the "Limit to" tools and select - "Special Collections" -> "Juvenile"

If it says Juvenile Collection after the call number, then it's a picture book.

The Children's Collection is located on the third floor of the library, in the alcove at the top of the 6th street building stairs.  Use the "Place Hold" function to have the Library staff pull the book for you.  You will get an email when it is ready to be picked up.

Try the resources below for ideas, or search Google or Amazon for topic lists. If you know the title of the book you are looking for, search for it by title using the Library Search box.

You can also register for an L-Pass and use the Edmonton Public LIbrary! Search for titles at epl.ca.
