Images

Image (Print Publication) 

Example: Van Gogh, Vincent. Sunflowers. 1888, Private Collection, Switzerland. Van Gogh: A Retrospective, edited by Susan Alyson Stein, Beaux Arts Editions, 1986, p. 167.
Elements: Image creator's last name, first name. Image title. Container, contributor, publisher, publishing date, location. 


Image (Digital Publication) 

Example: Ngan, Mandel. "U.S. President Joe Biden, left, and former President Barack Obama attend a campaign fundraiser in Los Angeles on June 15." The Globe and Mail, 18 July 2024, https://www.theglobeandmail.com/world/article-pelosi-behind-schiff-call-for-biden-to-step-aside-doesnt-think-he-can/.
Elements: Image creator's first name, last name. "Image Title." Publisher, publication date, Location. 

Audio

Physical-medium audio (e.g. CDs, records, etc.) 

Example: Fitzgerald, Ella. "How high the Moon." Ella Fitzgerald: Montreux Jazz festival, Pablo Records, 1975, CD.
Elements: Author. "Title of source." Title of container, publisher, publication date, medium. 


Digital-medium audio (e.g. streaming music, podcasts, etc.)  

Example: "Author Chat with A.H. Kim." Books and Boba, hosted by Reera Yoo and Marvin Yueh, episode 19, 5 Apr. 2024. iTunes app.
Elements: "Title of source." Title of container, contributors, version, publication date. Medium of access. 

 

Example: Frost, Max. "Good Morning." Atlantic Records, 2018. Spotify app.
Elements: Author. "Title of source." Publisher, publication date. Medium of access. 

Video

Physical-medium video (e.g., DVD)  

Example: Mrs. Doubtfire. Directed by Chris Columbus, Twentieth Century Fox, 1999. DVD.
Elements: Title of source. Contributor, publisher, publication date. Medium. 


Digital-medium video (e.g., YouTube) 

Example: Wani, Aiyesha. "Women's Rights." YouTube, uploaded by Tedx Talks, 14 APR. 2017, www.youtube.com/watch?v=41i0rabEdUE.
Elements: Author. "Source title." Container, publisher, publication date, date, location. 

Video Games

Elements: Video game title. Director, publisher, year. Game platform. 
Example: Alan Wake II. Directed by Sam Lake and Kyle Rowley, Remedy Entertainment / Epic Games, 2023. Sony PlayStation 5 game.
