Remixing an OER offers multiple benefits to instructors, such as flexibility in format and the option to adapting an OER to your teaching context and education needs.
Remixing an OER includes: reordering content, combining content with other materials, editing an OER, etc.
You can use materials licensed under Creative Commons as long as you follow the conditions of the license. For example, all CC-licensed works include attribution, or citing the original creator(s). Below is an example of citing a resource that includes a CC-BY license:
