The National Occupational Classification (NOC) organizes over 40,000 job titles into 500 occupational group descriptions. It is used to compile, analyze and communicate information about occupations, and to understand the jobs found throughout Canada's labour market.
The sixteen personality profiles are based on the work of Isabel Briggs Myers and her mother, Katharine Briggs, who developed their theory of personality type using psychologist Carl Jung's text Psychological Types.
