Study Rooms

The Library's bookable study rooms are located on the 2nd and 3rd floors.

  • Bookings can be made up to 7 days in advance; future availability is updated daily at 8 a.m.
  • Study rooms are available during library hours.
  • Maximum available booking time per person per day is 3 hours.
  • Use our interactive map to help you choose a study room if you require specific amenities such as a TV or whiteboard.
  • Another student may claim your room if you do not show up within 10 minutes of your booking.

*Please note: The study rooms on the 3rd floor are for silent study. If you need collaboration space, book study rooms on the 2nd floor.

Study Spaces

Silent/quiet study spaces and collaboration areas can be found within the library.

2nd Floor, Buildings 6 and 7 Collaborative area

  • These spaces can be used for group projects, collective study sessions, and other student needs. Conversational noise is expected; however, please keep noise levels respectful
  • The Dr. Paul G. Otke Conversation Area is used for studying, displays, and speaking engagements
  • Some single study carrels are available 
  • There is student access to Mac and HP desktops

3rd Floor Building 6 and 7 Quiet/Silent Study Area

  • Building 6 is dedicated as our silent study area. Please be aware that no conversation or talking is permitted
  • The Rotunda and the Building 7 side are designated quiet study spaces. Low-level conversation is permitted, but please be respectful of those around you
  • Study carrels, located at the end of building 7, are a designated silent study space
  • There is student access to Mac desktops in building 7
